Nakatsuna Lake House Completed

Nakatsuna Lake House

L-shaped lakeside home in Omachi, framing the lake, river and forest from every room. 133㎡, completed January 2026 — wood post-and-beam with charred-cedar cladding, walnut interiors, wood stove, a raised tatami nook, a hammock net over the void, and triple-glazed resin sash (UA 0.30). Designed by the owners' architect in Turkey, built by Tres Homes; now a Turkish-Japanese family's home and holiday rental.

A compact garage house in planning (June 2026). 96㎡ of living space on a 139㎡ plot — a two-car garage and storage at ground level, then a 13-tatami LDK, 7-tatami bedroom and a 9-tatami loft under a mono-pitch roof, wrapped in a timber-and-stone two-tone facade. By Tres Homes.
